Sean O’Brien – Head of Strength & Conditioning
Sean O’Brien has received his education in the Advanced Personal Training program at the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences and is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist with over 17 years of experience. He is a Certified Fitness and Youth Fitness Trainer with ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association). Sean has continuing education hours in Kettlebell, TRX, Schwinn indoor cycling, primal movement, Ultimate Sand Bag, and myofascial stretching and release training methods. He has trained and performed clinical bodywork in many private fitness centers, residential and hotel fitness centers in New York City, New York, and also in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso in Sub-Saharan West Africa. He now resides in Phuket, Thailand with his wife Amber and son Jacob.
Sean’s style of exercise programming breaks down the science of overall fitness and coaching, distinguishing the difference between healthy training regiments that have proven results vs. training fiction.
With an educational background in sciences of the body such as Anatomy and Physiology and Kinesiology, Myology, advanced training techniques in fitness programming and energy system training, Sean has set out to train the body to become stronger and perform better even into advanced age, while in the process transforming to a healthier version of oneself.
