Rhona is from the United Kingdom. She is a keen horse rider as well as Muay Thai enthusiast. She started practicing Muay Thai at 17 years of age with M-Mag Gym in Glasgow. She had her first fight in May 2012 at 19 years of age. Since then Rhona has had 23 fights, with the majority of the fights in Thailand. She can be described as a pressure fighter, always moving forward with lots of aggressive body kicks and sharp boxing skills. She is ranked number 1 in Scotland at 52.5 kg and number 5 in the UK at the same weight.
After the third visit to Sumalee Boxing Gym, Rhona caught Dr. Lynne Miller’s attention with her work ethic and dedication to Muay Thai training, thus was offered a year sponsorship with Sumalee Boxing Gym. Rhona worked closely with S1 champion, Phunkorn Sor. Chokkitchai, a Thai fighter with lighting fast left kicks and outstanding boxing skills, further developing Rhona’s style into Muay Femur style.
Muay Thai keeps her in good shape and provides discipline and challenge to her life.
