Contract for Sumalee Boxing Gym land finalised
At last the contract for Sumalee Boxing Gym land has been finalized and registered under the new Thai Company name (Island Master Co Ltd) at the land office. Sumalee Boxing Gym will sit on three and a half rai of land (which itself is set within a much larger piece of unspoilt land) behind the iconic Taoist Shrine – Tha Ruea Shrine – about I km south of Heroine’s Monument. This shrine is one of the oldest Chinese shrines on the island.
Sumalee Boxing Gym will be sited within an existing banana and coconut plantation in natural countryside. This gym will particularly appeal to those people who want excellent Muay Thai training in a traditional Thai environment, largely untouched by tourism but yet within easy reach of many of the best beaches and other attractions on the island. If you want to experience the culture of Muay Thai within broader Thai cultural experience, this gym is for you.
